A Breakdown You Can Trust

What is PETG Filament?

PETG filament is a versatile and durable 3D printing material that combines the heat resistance and isotacticity of PET with the ease of printing of TPU.

Why Choose PETG Filament?

  1. Durability: PETG is strong and resistant to impact and bending, making it ideal for functional and long-lasting parts.
  2. Heat Resistance: It can withstand temperatures up to 80°C, suitable for applications requiring durability in hot conditions.
  3. Transparency: Available in clear and gradient colors, making it easy to see structural designs.

PETG Blue and Gradient Colors

  • PETG Blue: The deep blue color of this filament offers a professional and attractive appearance for your projects.
  • Blue Gradient: Provides a smooth color transition, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of your 3D prints.

Product Details

  • Size: 1.75mm diameter
  • Weight: 1kg net weight

Choosing the Right PETG Filament

  • Moisture Absorption: PETG absorbs moisture more easily than PLA. Store the filament in a sealed container to prevent moisture absorption. Use it within 24 hours of the day after opening the package. If the filament needs to be dried, heat it to 70°C for more than 3 hours.
  • First Layer Adhesion: Carefully monitor the first layer of printing. If there are any issues, restart the print. For the initial layers, turn off the cooling fan to ensure good adhesion.

Printing Tips

  • Heat Bed Temperature: 70°C
  • Nozzle Temperature: 220-230°C
  • Printing Speed: 25-37mm/s
  • Retraction Distance: 3-5mm
  • Retraction Speed: 40-50mm/s

Moisture Control

  • Controlling the moisture content is crucial for successful 3D printing. Ensure the filament is dry before use. If a dehydrator is not available, exposing the filament to sunlight for 4 hours can help dry it effectively.

By choosing PETG Filament, you ensure that your 3D printed parts are tough, reliable, and visually appealing.
